The Karma Way was founded in Thimphu by people who grew up in the shadow of the Himalayas. We know these mountains, these monasteries, these festivals — not as destinations on a map, but as the places that shaped who we are.
We started this company because we believed that travel to Bhutan, Ladakh and Darjeeling deserved something better than what was available. Not package tours. Not airport pickups and hotel checkboxes. But journeys with depth — cultural conversations, unhurried mornings, encounters that change how you see the world.
Every journey we design is private and entirely bespoke. Every guide is someone we know personally. Every route reflects not just what is beautiful, but what is meaningful.
